Guess What? just got a fun update. If you knew exactly what I added, that would be a hilarious pun. I added a bunch of phrases with the word “fun” in it.

Guess What? 1.2.2 Released

Binary Solo is proud to announce that the latest update of Guess What? has been approved by Apple and released into the wild. You asked for it, and you got it! This brings Guess What? to 1.2.2 with a few exciting, new features:

- The addition of an on-screen timer!
- More phrases in all categories!

Guess What? Gets An Update!

Guess What?, the hot potato inspired word game, has just received an update in the Apple App Store. Along with a little stability and back-end work, 1.1.1 brings to the table:

New phrases in all categories!
Added our logo to the start-up screen! (Represent!)
Bug fix: Certain fields in the options could incorrectly bring up the keyboard.
Bug fix: A bug in the phrase logic had some phrases start repeating before all phrases in that category were exausted.

So grab the updated version! We’re still working on more updates. If you haven’t bought Guess What? yet, why not? At only $0.99 it’s a steal for a great party game to enjoy with all your friends! If you find a bug or want to see a phrase added to the main content (you can always add custom phrases), visit the Guess What? site and click on Feedback!

Guess What Lite Is Here!

Been looking to try before you buy? Guess What Lite has just been released. You can get it here. Guess What Lite is a feature complete game all by itself. You and any number of friend can play a game up to five points with an exorbitant amount of phrases. Of course, it doesn’t have ALL of the phrases that the full version has, and it’s missing some customization options, but it will definitely provide you with enough content for a fun night! Announcing Binary Solo’s First Official Release – Guess What?

Binary Solo announces today that our first iPhone App, Guess What?, is officially available for purchase on the App store! Thanks to everyone who has already bought it, and to all of those who will be. Hard work was put into Guess What? and we’re proud to see it approved and in the App store.

What is Guess What? Guess What? is a fun word game that mixes the fast-paced, word-guessing action of games like Taboo with the exciting elements of Hot Potato. That’s right! Binary Solo are officially iPhone developers now. We’ve taken the first step into iPhone development and our game first game is almost done, so expect to hear great things soon.

“Get Some Cool Junk” Contest!

Announcing the “Get Some Cool Junk” Contest, Binary Solo’s first contest. The rules are simple. The prize is special.

Have you ever wanted to see your character in a video game? Well this is your chance. Binary Solo is giving people the chance to see their imagination come to life. The rules are simple:

Draw some characters, as many characters as you like. If you have one thousand ideas then draw, sketch, sculpt, or model them. The character should be well designed, cool, but an average person. Someone who would stand out in today’s society, but not somebody you wouldn’t see on the street. Realistic proportions preferred.
Send these drawings to contests@binarysolo.com by April 15th, 2009.
Binary Solo will choose the winner. All submissions will be considered based on the aforementioned criteria.

That’s cool and all, but you want to know what you win, right?

Junk!

That’s right, junk! Well, that and seeing your character in a game! There will be four winners announced. First place gets the most junk, second place the second most, third place a bit less, and fourth place gets the least junk.

But why would you want it? Well, because junk isn’t all literally junk. There’s really cool junk, some odd junk, rare junk, and awesome junk. For example, there is a nice chess set, an action figure, and T-shirts. But there are also pens, mints, and stickers.

So get drawing!
